Dog sled ride at Chena Hot Springs north of Fairbanks, Alaska. These dogs love to be chosen to take a short run around the property even though the temperature on this day was right around 0 (F).
On a different day I tried to get a photo of these guys but failed to get far enough off the "track". I only wish I had gotten the look of complete shock on the lead dog's face when he looked up and saw me. I did feel bad but there was no harm done. For this photo I stepped off the trail into snow that was surprisingly a couple of feet deep. Worth it!

Photography has been my passion for decades. I began with a camera that produced an undeveloped photo that required another minute to process outside the camera. After a minute, the built-in timer sounded indicating it was time to peel off the top layer of the photo to unveil the latest work of art. From the days of Polaroid to film canisters to memory cards and digital processing, I have enjoyed each advancement. Prior to COVID I enjoyed traveling and landscape photography. I also enjoyed doing some macro work with flowers. God provides such beauty that sometimes cannot be seen without a macro lens.
