Driving along in Montana we saw some cars stopped beside the road. Quite often in Montana this means that there is an animal that people were looking at. So as one would, we screeched to a stop to see this grizzly bear enjoying playing with something in the water. He was throwing it up in the air and catching it believe it or not. For this particular toss, he must have realized that his toy was about to go into the drink. If bears could curse, I would swear this bear was saying a choice word. We joked that this was a bone from the previous photographer that stopped to film him.

Photography has been my passion for decades. I began with a camera that produced an undeveloped photo that required another minute to process outside the camera. After a minute, the built-in timer sounded indicating it was time to peel off the top layer of the photo to unveil the latest work of art. From the days of Polaroid to film canisters to memory cards and digital processing, I have enjoyed each advancement. Prior to COVID I enjoyed traveling and landscape photography. I also enjoyed doing some macro work with flowers. God provides such beauty that sometimes cannot be seen without a macro lens.
