Description
Aurora shining over the snowcats that took us 2000 feet up a mountain at Chena Hot Springs north of Fairbanks, Alaska. This night was so very special with temperatures around zero degrees Fahrenheit, we enjoyed the awesome colors of the aurora borealis dancing about as we took warm-up breaks inside the yurt. You have not lived until you ride in a box slipping at times in the ice up the side of a mountain!

Wow, I would love to see this but I am not sure how to survive the cold.
Angie Mossburg replied:
Oh you should go! You’d take awesome photos. We’ve been when it’s 0 degrees and when it’s -44 degrees. The zero really wasn’t bad as long as the winds were not blowing! Thank you Alinna!

This is amazing, I can't imagine working at a job in such an surreal environment, wonderful image.

So cool Angie! It must have been awesome in person!
Angie Mossburg replied:
Oh Linda it was! I will say that I was focused on taking photos that I wasn't paying attention to what was going on. Hopefully next time I will do both :) Thank you for your comment!

Angie, I wish my husband and I can be there just once in our life time.
Angie Mossburg replied:
Luna, it's definitely worth the trip to see these wonderful lights. I hope you and your husband can go soon.
