Memorial Day weekend 2022 we found so many eating at the lake including this adorable scissortail flycatcher. What's on the menu you ask? Well it's grasshopper tartare of course! A true sign of summertime in Texas and Oklahoma is the appearance of this beautiful bird, the Scissortail Flycatcher. The males have longer feathers on their tails like this. Bon Appetit little guy. The file size on this is quite large so it will print well in larger sizes.
