Description
As I was photographing a great blue heron in a local pond I noticed a bullfrog watching me. I was so happy that he posed for a minute still as could be before taking a dive into the reeds. The title comes from the song "Joy to the World" by Three Dog Night. If you've never heard it, here are a few of the lyrics.
Jeremiah was a bullfrog
Was a good friend of mine
I never understood a single word he said
But I helped him a-drink his wine
And he always had some mighty fine wine
Singin' joy to the world
All the boys and girls now
Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea
Joy to you and me
