Description
The Round Island Lighthouse can be seen from the ferry traveling to and from Mackinac Island in Michigan. The lighthouse was built from red brick in 1895 and served to warn of fog and land until being abandoned in 1947. There have been a couple of rehabilitation efforts and although it remains un-manned, it is still a beautiful landmark to sail by.
This digital art is based on a photograph taken from the ferry

Hi Angie, I love this art piece. I too do a lot of digital art and it's interesting to see other digital artists and their work. I started out, like you, starting with a photo and changing it to look more like a painting. Lately, I've been starting with AI and then tweaking it with Photoshop. So much fun! I'm following you and I added this to my Favorites Collection. I hope you check out some of my digital work sometime as well.
